Asha Sundararajan

Director, Childrens Technology Workshop, Mumbai

Ms Asha Sundararajan is the founder-director of Children’s Technology Workshop, Mumbai. She is a firm believer in experiential learning, and the depth and width of learning outcomes associated with a blended mode of learning. She offers robotics and digital technology programs in nine schools in Mumbai, has successfully mentored and coached teams of students to participate in the Indian and international robotic and Science competitions, and teaches Robotics and Programming units in the middle school program at the American School of Bombay.

Asha earned her Bachelors in Maths. She worked for a little over a decade as a software consultant and programmer both in India and in New York. She has a Masters in Education from Teachers College Columbia University and taught at the Collegiate School and Manhattan Country School before moving back to India. She has two sons, ages 16 and 13, and a techie husband. Her family’s passion for robotics and music supports her drive and success.
